"A piece of marble. Tall, erect, and alien in its module to the ruins of the synagogue and to the site of ancient Ostia. On surrounding it, one discovers that cylinders were drilled and broken in the depth of the piece. They were removed, and then placed on the earth. 11 poles / pillars of content - mass have been consumed. hollowed. As marks of self consumption, a sacrifice that enabled the journey of the form. The trail of functioning / functional roles imitates the ancient techniques of transporting heavy architectural elements and materials, and so resonates of a long lost allegory. A truth. A principle.
